After breakfast, we will embark in the early morning in the direction of Telouet. Following the High Atlas mountains, we will trek along Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching 2,260m in elevation.
Once arriving in Telouet, we will visit the Kasbah of Pacha Glaoui and have an enjoyable lunch here. The afternoon will take us to Aït Benhaddou, via the Ounila Valley, with its Berber villages dotting the horizon.
Later, continuing on to Ouarzazate, we will have dinner and overnight accommodation provided by a local hotel.
After the morning’s breakfast, we will drive through the Draa Valley until we reach Tansikht. On our way to lunch in Alnif, we will pass through the fabulous Nkob palm grove and its amazing Kasbahs. Following the desert trails to Mcissi in the afternoon, we will arrive in Tafraout Aït Atta for dinner and an overnight hotel stay.
After breakfast, the day’s journey will begin traversing the sandy region of Oued Ghris, passing the desert villages of Ramlia and Ouzina. After pausing for lunch en route, we will depart for Taouz and discover its beautiful petroglyphs.
Later, partake in a visit to Khamlia, a truly unique Gnawa village, just before reaching Erg Chebbi, or Merzouga Dunes. In the middle of the dunes, we will have a communal dinner and spend the night at a desert tent camp.
Witnessing the remarkable Sahara morning sunrise before breakfast, embark on a camel trek towards the amazing Tafilalet palm groves. Passing Rissani town, the ancient capital of the Alaouite sultans, we will cross the town of Erfoud to your awaiting 4X4 vehicle.
Continuing west, we will drive to the impressive canyons of Todra Gorges and share a lunch. Afterward, our course will take us to Boumalne Dades, passing Tinjdad palm grove and Tinghir. Ending the day, dinner and hotel accommodation will be offered, in Dades Gorges.
After the morning’s breakfast, our journey will begin by passing through the Rose Valley where we will stop in Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its rose distillation.
After later arriving at Oasis Skoura, we’ll have a brief tour of one of the wonders of the southern “Route of the 1000 Kasbahs”, the Amredhyle Kasbah. Moving on, to Ouarzazate, we will then drive towards the High Atlas and Tizi n’Tichka Pass to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before our evening arrival in Marrakech marking the end of our 5 days Sahara desert tour from Marrakech.
