Leaving Ouarzazate in the early morning, we will venture towards the town of Agdz where we’ll briefly pause to rest before continuing on our journey. En route to Zagora, we will pass through the beautiful Draa Valley and its amazing palm grove. Then, upon our arrival in Zagora, we will share a relaxing, enjoyable lunch. After midday, we will travel to Mhamid, in order to arrive just before its beautiful sunset. The night will be spent resting in our bivouacs in Erg Lihoudi, on the dunes, and in Berber tents.
An early rise and departure, assuring your enjoyment of the incredible sunrise over the Sahara Desert! After breakfast, we will migrate to Tamegroute to visit its old, sacred Sufi Zaouia school, a pottery manufacturer using ancient techniques, and the village’s historic Koranic library containing 4,200 manuscripts and a 14th-century Quran.
Continuing our journey by passing through Zagora and traversing the Draa Valley, we will then follow a path through the Anti-Atlas Mountains to have lunch in Agdz. After finalizing our 2 days Ouarzazate to Mhamid desert tour, we will arrive in Ouarzazate by evening.
