DAY 1 – Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
We will pick up you at 8:00am, in front of your riad/hotel to drive to Merzouga, via Ifrane and Midelt. During this particular journey, you’ll experience glimpses of both the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains.
Stopping in the Berber village of Azrou, located in the middle of a famous, and the largest, cedar forest in Morocco, you may well see the Barbarian apes! Continuing through the Tizi n’Talghamt Pass to Midelt, via the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, pausing for panoramic views en route.
Next, we will head straight to the impressive dunes of Merzouga and Erg Chebbi. Here, we will mount camels awaiting your unforgettable camel trekking adventure, while you enjoy the incredible sight of the day’s sunset falling over the Sahara Dunes!
The evening will be sited in the middle of the desert, where dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided, in comfortable tents on a true nomad camp!

DAY 2 – Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges
Beginning the day in the early morning, you will surely enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Sahara Desert! Again mounting our camels, we will return to the hotel where our vehicles are parked and a healthy breakfast will be waiting.
After our morning repose, we will drive to visit the Gnawa people, in their village of Khamlia, where you will learn about their lifestyle and Gnawa “healing” music.
Then, we will drive towards the Tafilalet palm grove, passing Rissani – the old Alaouite capital of the Sahara Sultans, explore the city’s traditional market and enter the Todra gorges – the narrowest and highest gorges in Morocco.
While here, you will have the option of hiking for an hour within the valley, where you will meet locals and learn about the area’s culture and geography. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided by a riad/hotel.

DAY 3 – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Skoura- Ouarzazate
On this day, you undoubtedly wake in anticipation of our morning itinerary: The majestic sand castles and amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”, walking the gorges and enjoying dreamlike settings.
Afterward, we will drive along the amazing Valley of Roses, reaching Skoura where we’ll have lunch and visit the Amredhyle Kasbah, one of the wonders of the southern “Route of 1,000 Kasbahs”.
Later venturing towards Ouarzazate, if we arrive early then you will have the option of extending your tour towards Fint and passing the “Plateau de Pierres”. Here, visit the inner Oasis where you will have the opportunity to take some of your best photographs of the journey! We will return to Ouarzazate, in the evening, where overnight accommodation will be provided.

DAY 4 – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After breakfast, you will be taken for a visit to Taourirt Kasbah, in Ouarzazate’s city center. Next, we will venture to the renowned Cinema Studios before Heading to Aït Benhaddou, where you’ll have a tour visiting the old fortified kasbah where many Hollywood films had been made.
Protected by UNESCO and a fantastic World Heritage site in Morocco, we will have lunch in the Kasbah before passing the Tichka Pass in the High Atlas, along the return road to Marrakech.
